Later may be better, but

I arrived at Center Sage about 7 pm. The first turn-off as I entered was the metal detector. My cell phone and keys set it off, but the follow up pat down wouldn’t have found a weapon if I had been carrying one. Although I realize why certain clubs might install such devices, when they are not used effectively, they make me feel less secure, not more.

When I entered, there were three dancers on the large stage, so I took a seat. They soon finished their set and exited the stage. There was then a period of almost thirty minutes when no dancers performed. A few sat with regulars at the bar, but the dancers did not regularly circulate, and when they did, it was a quick question of “Do you want a lap dance?” with no attempt to make conversation. I personally did not find the dancers attractive or interesting, so I just sat, nursing my drink.

I do not why I did not leave and find another club. But the situation gradually changed as more dancers arrived. I finally accepted one dancer’s invitation to the lap dance area. She provided a couple of very good lap dances, but the room provided little privacy (another turn-off) so I was able to observe a couple of other lap dances being given. The mileage varied considerably.
