This club made me sad

So the club has been described many times. No changes there. Tonight, they were using the bigger room. When I got in, I waited at least 10 minutes for a waitress to show up. No big deal, I went to the bar. When I came back to my table, the waitress comes over and says I need to buy a drink to sit there. I showed her my drink from the bar, and she said I should sit at the bar then. Really? Not very welcoming!

The DJ was drunk (or something). His mic was too loud, and he couldn't get the ladies to dance on the stage. Out of the 10 or so ladies, only about a half were dancing. The girls were very occupied with their regulars and were not circulating. I tried tipping all the ladies at the stage, and very few responded by coming by and talking. I was even offering to buy the ladies drinks if they stopped by... The ladies would leave the sage and go back to their friends. Talking about no bang for my bucks!

Finally a lady did stop by and we talked. She told me that things were slow, and that a regular is too valuable to loose. I guess that is good for them, but no so go for the occasional visitor. I felt like a pariah. In more than an hour, only one lady came by to chat. I decided to leave about 10:00 and just call it a night. I walked out with nearly all the money I brought in with me.
