Checking in on a Sunday

I always hit the Kon Tiki (bar that serves alcohol next door) and should have known by the amount of cars in the lot that it was going to be quiet. It was, three couples and the bartender were in there. After downing a couple of beers the bartender gave me a slip for $5 off Stateline Showgirls next door, out of tokens she said.

Cover is $10 with the $5 off and ID check, and you’re in. A quick scan of the room and I quickly found that there were more male staff there than female. Bummer, but it was 10pm and maybe things hadn’t picked up yet.

I propped myself up at the tip rail and a very hot dark skinned girl was just finishing her set on stage. I later kicked myself for not getting a dance from her because she looked like she knew what she was doing. The waitress serves you bottomless water or soda or whatever your nonalcoholic heart desires. Here’s an idea, tip the waitress and you never have to worry about tracking her down again as she’s always bringing you beverages. Another thought: dip the dancers if you’re at the rail. I saw two groups of ‘bros’ that noticeably heckled a few of the five dancers there and it was not cool. I did hear a comment from one of the dancers that she wanted to throw her shoe at one of the bros. A few minutes later I was approached by Diamond.
