Not a bad way to waste an hour

I arrived about 8:00 p.m. There was plenty of parking out front in the fenced lot. It was very cold, but there was a doorman standing just outside the door watching the parking lot who performed a TSA level pat down on me and asked for ID. I showed him a military ID. He put a wristband on me, said no cover for military, but asked me to buy at least two drinks. No problem.

The Pony is a pretty good sized club, and it looks pretty nice—not super fancy, but a nice upper mid-tier club. It’s a good bit nicer than the one in Huntsville. There is a long runway stage projecting from the right wall, with two satellites on either side, a small bar to the left. There were small rooms and cubbies off the main room for lap dances and VIP sessions, but I never went in them.

I noticed this club has unusual, “U” shaped tables. It took me a while, but finally it dawned on me what they were. There is a small platform inside the “U” in the tables, which is a miniature stage for table dances. A dancer confirmed that was what they were, but I never saw them in use.
