Not Bad. Not Great.
I went into PD about a month ago when I had some free time on a work trip to Memphis. Paid the $20 cover and got 2 free drink tickets from the bouncer. I didn’t see a single other customer. I’ve been in before and expected it to be quiet, but not empty. The bartender was nice enough. I got my beer (really wish they had bourbon but that’s not the point of the place I suppose). I had almost finished my first beer and still had not seen a single dancer in place. I decided I’d at least get my second one since I had dumped $20 on, to this point, nothing…then leave. Half way through beer 2, a dancer came out and approached me. We engaged in the usual chit chat for a few minutes and then she asked if I wanted to have some fun. I opted for the VIP booth and away we went. She was very accommodating, didn’t rush me, and made sure I was satisfied. On the way out, I saw another dancer come out and kind wished I had waited and gotten a dance from her. Maybe next time I’ll be more patient. As I was leaving a few more customers began trickling in. I hear it’s much more lively at night. Haven’t been there late yet though to find out. I will definitely go back. Not much else going on in Memphis to compete with PD it seems.
