Too sad even for me

I've been coming to CP since 2007. The rule of thumb was, never before 8 pm. In what passed for the good ol days, I sometimes got FS way before 8 just to beat the crowds. And yet here it is, 8:30, and just Granny Saggz to pass for talent. No one in the back room. No one walking the floor.

Three bartenders, two customers, one dancer. What a distressing ratio! There aren't even the usual promises of dancers to come, if only I'd drink $8 beers for a bit. Even George - - o, beloved George - - seems resigned and going through the motions.

Perhaps our Charm City scene is finally dying, the distant crane of construction announcing the death knell of Pervert's Paradise.
