Day shift at the Pony best avoided

I usually do day shift at Gold Club when I go to a club in Memphis. I had some free time, and I hit GC yesterday, so I figured I'd scout the day shift at the Pony. There was no bouncer, so I was greeted by a recording that said, "Welcome to the Pony!" It had a certain dystopian vibe.

I walked in, and approached the bar. The bartender carded me, and took my money. It costs $17 to get in, $5 cover and a two drink minimum at $6 per. When I walked in there was one dancer sitting at a table with two customers, the bartender and me. I probably should have turned around and walked out, but it was a scouting mission, so I got a beer, sat down and waited.

After about 15 minutes, two more dancers emerged from the back. None of the three were remotely interesting, so after I finished the first beer, I left. So far, to my knowledge, GC has the only decent day shift in town.
