One of Jacksonville's Better Establishments

Wacko's is one of the better clubs in this neck of the woods. I hadn't been in years and gave them a try a couple of weeks ago and I'm glad I did. I had a good enough time to come back tonight.

The $5 cover is pretty standard for local clubs. Once inside, the place looks reasonably well-kept, as long as you don't look at the nasty ceiling tiles hanging overhead. Even the men's room is pretty well looked after. The club is pretty much divided into 3 areas, not including the VIP room: the main stage area, with a few tables spread around, the bar and second stage, and the third stage area, which offers the most seating and some high-top tables for those eating.

I don't normally eat when I go to a club, but tonight, I ordered a burger and enjoyed it. It was $10 and came with fries. As I sat waiting for my food, I was approached by several dancers, the last of which sat with me while I ate. For the purposes of the review, we'll call her Jen. (Not her name, stage or otherwise.)
