Wednesday & The Muddy curse continues!
I decided to check out the Red Rose on what I knew to generally be a slow "strip club" night in Florida's Panhandle. The club opens at 8:00 PM, but generally doesn't have dancer's working the stage until 10:00 PM. Entry to the club before midnight is typically $10. The club offers 2 for 1 drinks between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM, but I have never found the Red Rose alcohol offering to be that appealing. As a side note, the owner (Cashen Moore) operates multiple liquor stores and bars in the panhandle. Her father William (Cash) has recently passed, but the man was a self made businessman and left a business largesse for his only daughter.
At one time, the Red Rose was quite intriguing as a good strip club to visit in the FT Walton Beach area. Their pricepoint was fair in a region that generally gouges on pricing in lap dance and other modes of entertainment (VIP). The competition (Sammy's and Club 10) generally has priced their tepid "air" lapdances between $40 and $50 per dance. Sammy's always had the best lineup and the most space maintained between dancer and customer, but the Red Rose had the 2nd best lineup with up to 25 dancers (4 nights a week) and the claustraphobic lockers had you bumping with your entertainer. The Red Rose bare bones lap dance remains $25 and is performed inside a school-like locker space. The club has moved to a model that keeps the bare bones lap dance in play, but offers $35 lap dances on a couple of comfy couches.
So back to my visit! My 8oz rum & coke was only $6 and remains served in a clear plastic cup. My coke was served in a clear 10oz plastic cup by Tiffany (club bartender), who has worked the bar since 2012 (in my time as a Red Rose attendee).
There were 7 dancers working on my visit and 3 of them had some appeal. The most attractive to me were also new to me. Jewel is an engaging, young, and buxom young lady with a pretty face and a nice booty to hang on to (if one could use their hands to do so) in a lap dance at Red Rose. Nova is an attractive latina with almost less than a handfull up top, but certainly qualifies as a spinner. There was a 3rd dancer that had some appeal to me, but I came to Red Rose to checkout a young, white, milf-spinner that has danced there recently. My specific spinner was not in the club on Wednesday.
In the past there has always been a dancer that rang my bells in the club. In my recent past (last 2 visits), the bell ringer dancer has been lacking. I needed a bell ringer at the Red Rose to test the current lap dance temperature upstairs. In the last 2 years at this club, the temperature and the talent has paled compared to the previous 10 years.
In summary, Techman - this is topless club only and I offer you no reason to traverse south to the panhandle for your bottom half focus. The parking is plentiful, but one must be alert to park in the lighted areas. I'd recommend the lighted parking just past AJ's. Red Rose has offered "no fun" in 2 years, but until Muddy visited 2 years back it was fun!
