This strip club is one of the best known in Tampa Bay..it's reputation is one of a very high mileage club, even though it's true when they say your mileage will vary. i chose to come out in the middle of the week one late afternoon after i left my job in downtown, because i just left a high pressure meeting i needed to get my mind off things. sometimes the career stress is a load that you can no longer bare, and you need to take that load off!..and this club is one of the better choices to get that done! when i arrived at the parking lot, i saw a maintained parking lot, and there was someone standing right at the door, and the parking lot seemed as safe as always..i have never seen an incident there, even though some of the immediate businesses appear suspect. speaking of suspect, i was immediately scrutinized by the glaring stare of the gentlemen near the main entrance. after a quick nod and salute, i was most welcomed inside the establishment, i actually appreciated the doorman paying close attention to my arrival..it makes me feel like they are watching and paying attention to my vehicle. once i stepped inside, i was warmly greeted and given a brief run down of the club policies and offerings. even though after i paid the cover charge i explained i was a returning local visitor, they still insisted in repeating the policies and guidelines. the entrance area is rather cozy, almost as cozy as the private VIP dance rooms!..after i walked through the curtains, i saw nobody on stage, but the music was playing..i also saw no other customers, but not even one minute upon my arrival, as i was taking a seat, the DJ made an announcement that the girls were giving exotic lap dances and others are taking a break, but will commence shortly. going to the strip club middle of the day mid-week i should of expected a slow environment, after my water bottle purchase, a thick Caucasian dancer who at first glance appeared all natural appeared on stage. i thought it was somewhat cumbersome and akward that a stage performance was about to happen for just me as a customer, but then i looked at the bar, and there was one other person there, and then another person appeared out of the restroom. during the third song, i positioned myself up to the stage to get a better look at the assets on display. the red head with several tattoos, asked me how long i was planning on staying there? then she abruptly finished her set, without the 3rd song completing, and haphazardly got dressed by the stage, and pulled up a chair besides me..i was surprised, as i was not expecting her to just quit the performance,. she started to persuade me to do personal VIP dances...she made some offers, and i accepted it. the offer basically entailed a dining option along with a happy ending dessert. it was not the greatest offer, but she drew a line in the sand..and the other 2 dancers i spotted were not to my liking, there was a thick almost fat hispanic dancer who was very blunt and as i was watching the stage performance in the beginning, she approached me and said, to me she wanted to you know what for some outrageous asking price, i quickly informed her, i am a local and not some imbecile out of towner. then she gave me a new rate, which was more in the range one would expect, but she said, only 3 songs, and that is a total of 10 minutes.no thank you. i did not catch the latina name, but she had tattoos on her leg, real big knockers, black hair, and appeared adjoined at the hip with another dancer, who was closely following her everywhere she went. so i took the redhead to the back room, she was really juicy person, i was stunned, thinking it would be more of a dried up prune, since she must of grinded on many other customers earlier in the day!? she proceeded to take control and offered me a dining experience. what i did not appreciate it, is during payment, she started asking for more, than the agreed upon price explaining to me, the amount of the cut the house takes, that is not any of my concern, i don't care. but i wanted to maintain cordiality because i wanted an option if i made a stop before heading home from work another day.she was the only one i laid eyes on that was'nt acting like a snot. but i was being pressured to pay extra tip so i reluctantly did so, that did end my afternoon on a sour note, but i did get a chance to take that load off, that was pestering me. on my way out, i was asked by the receptionist host lady "leaving so soon?" that is none of her business, to ask me that..i don't understand why they would ask a customer that question, they for sure are not oblivious as to what can happen there. i said, i was going to go have dinner near by, and return, but that was jarring, as to why i am being interrogated? about leaving? overall my goal was met. my mind was put at ease, it's a proven point, that this strip club is one of the best places for that sort of thing in hillsborough county.
