So I decided to visit Leather and Lace in Gastonia one Thursday afternoon while I was in town on business. I have been keeping an eye on this place for some time and decided to visit. I showed up about an hour after opening and there was four girls working. They all we're right around fives or sixes.
I went to the bar and got a drink wasn't too overpriced and was a decent drink. I found a seat and took in the floor plan of the club. Long and skinny floor plan bar on one side stage on the other and a bunch of tables and chairs in between. I noticed there were a few customers getting lap dances on the floor as they were only $5. I did notice a few customers going back to the "VIP" area.
It took about 15 minutes for a dancer to approach me as they look like they were all working some regulars. This tall skinny brunette girl with tattoos approach me and made the comment that she had never seen me before. I told her it was my first time and she sat down and told me all about the club. She said she had just gotten there and that she hadn't even had a chance to put makeup on the light was so bad I couldn't really tell. My thought was if you know you're coming to work to be a stripper you should be ready to go ASAP and show up ready to do the deed.
She asked me if I wanted to do a couple of VIP songs and I agreed cuz I wanted to see what the VIP section was like. I wish I didn't find out what the VIP section was like because it sucked! It was such a small room that if there was more than one person in their our knees would have been hitting. To top it off you're right next to the DJ like literally I felt like I could have reached out and touched his shoulder. No privacy whatsoever. The dance was decent but not in my top 10 of dances.
So therefore I cannot recommend Leather and Lace Gastonia. I left pretty quickly after my 2 dances. Oh and by the way at the best looking chick in the whole place was the bartender. I'm sure they are way better places within a half hour of this club and I will find out next time I'm in that area!
