Cover charge for an empty club

Got to Sugars at around 7:00 pm and the girl at the desk took my $10 cover. The place was pretty empty. Maybe 3-4 guys at the bar and a group at a table in the dance room along with a few single guys. I got an $8 draft and watched the beginning of the TCU/Cal game while the DJ played some pretty awful music. I spent about 20 minutes at the bar drinking my first beer and I saw a single girl dance on stage and there were no girls at the bar. After I finished my first beer, I got a 2nd and headed back to see if there were maybe some girls in the back. Another dancer was just finishing on stage and she immediately went and sat with someone. I sat for another 10-15 minutes and there wasn't another dancer on stage and absolutely no dancers circulating so I left. I wouldn't have minded just grabbing a beer to watch some football but I felt a little ripped off that they were charging a $10 dollar entry fee knowing that there were no girls dancing. I'm not normally there during the week so I don't know if it's always like this during the week or what, but I'll stick to only going there on Friday or Saturday and avoid it during the week.
