At least one dancer was fun

My wife and I visited this place for the first time a little while back. We got there later in the evening and had a good time. First of all, they had a $10 cover that night but didn’t charge my wife. That’s always good since charging a women a cover pisses off my wife. Having the wife pissed off kills the mood, like what happened at the Scene in Commack one time. The girls working that night ranged in the looks department but were slightly above average for a small Long Island club. As expected, they are not NYC caliber. We noticed the scene at the stage was weak with some of the dancers not being decent at dancing. So we hung out at the bar. The bartender and the other staff were more friendly than we have found at most Long Island clubs, which is a plus. Mixed drinks were around $12 each from what I recall, which is expected. They weren’t large but were ok strength. Next time we will pregame more someplace else. At first the girls seemed shy avoiding approaching us as couple. That almost got us to leave. However, one young latina joined us and we had a blast hanging out with her. After the three of us had a drink, my wife sent me off with her for an enjoyable, long, and friendly lap dance. I paid $60 before tip and got two or three long songs (kind of lost track which is a good sign). The lap dance room was fairly private without staff watching, and liberal mutual contact didn’t seem to be a problem. After that, we had another couple drinks with her and we headed out. Overall, we got the impression that if we hadn’t met that dancer, the others would not have been friendly to a couple. So we figure it could be hit or miss in the future for us. The friendly staff helped balance out the poor dancing talent of the girls that night. It is not a place to watch superb pole dancing skills. The looks of the girls ranged but the average was just above average for LI clubs. We have been to a bunch on LI. We have seen slightly better and we absolutely have seen worse. Not sure if we would travel real far to visit again but if we are in the area and in the mood, we would try it again. The friendly staff helped balance the downsides. Not many options in Nassau County. I heard that there have been some criminal incidents in the parking lot, which is at the Baldwin train station. It didn’t seem bad to me but I was also well overserved. Maybe that helps.
