3 x HK

This is my third trip to HK and TJ Zona Norte the week after thanksgiving. I was by myself this trip but did meet another TUSCLer while there. I arrived on a Tuesday late afternoon into SD. I took an Uber down to the PedWest crossing. I told them I'd be staying just the one night and MX border security let me through without stamping my passport. Since I had been previously, I walked straight to the shuttle station which is about a half block past the taxi stands. There was a small immigrant camp there under the overpass. But it was nothing to be concerned about. I waited a few minutes for the limo and was off to HK. It's worth looking on the "HK Mexpress" instagram account if you don't know where you're going. They have a video that's helpful.

CASCADAS

I checked in at Cascadas in a Master suite for $22 with the HK VIP discount on a Tuesday...can't beat that. I was given a room on the 6th floor. I like that better than the 8th floor room I had last time. You can get to 6 from any elevator. 8 only has one elevator that goes up that high. I checked into the VIP desk at HK for my drink and dance coupons. I like doing this first thing since you can get one of each every 12 hours. I was going to be there 2 days and thought I could squeeze in 4 of each if I stayed close to the 12 hour schedule. I then went to OXXO to get supplies for the room...a few waters/drinks mainly so that I wasn't paying for them out of my deposit.
