Spinners and druggies
Saturday Dec. 8 was a little light all over the Block, with only a fraction of the dancers typically available up and down the entire street. I noticed two things about Club Harem that night: either the presence of petite women, or the absence of respectable breasts, depending on your point of view; and a few dancers who were under some kind of influence beyond mere alcohol.
One girl walked over and was totally spaced out and said, "Hey baby you want some company?" I politely declined and continued drinking my beer. Not five minutes later, the exact same girl walked up and said the exact same thing, word for word. I said, "We just talked, remember?" And she blurted out, "Oh yeah" and walked away. Aside from her, there were a handful of A cuppers, some of whom were cute enough and all that. It could just be my preference for a C cup at minimum that kept me from being more impressed. Your mileage may vary.
There were more customers than dancers at pretty much every club on the Block that night, and the quality was questionable at best. I'm hoping this is just a post-Thanksgiving downturn, but candidly, I've been concerned for the past several months that the Block is on its last legs, especially given the looming construction cranes and high end condos in the immediate area.
