Outside the Box

The clubs on the Broadway Block don't get proportionate coverage on TUSCL. They are visited a lot, but quite frankly they can be typically summarized as the highest milage clubs in the Mid Atlantic and all of them pretty much offer the same dirty, inexpensive, full service product that entertainers in all other regional clubs don't.

I typically look for specific dancers when I visit the block and one might very easily find their favorites in any of the half dozen clubs that all sit side by side.

What I had (still haven't) never done is visit the Jewel Box upstairs establishment. I'd heard rumor that they don't let their dancers charge an additional 'sir charge' (pun intended) but simply charge a very flat rate $300 per hour. That is more expensive than any other club but would be cheaper than most good dancers would agree to with their tips included. I have seen the ladies up there and they are really not a different quality than anywhere else, but often seem far more 'medicated' than a lot of other entertainers.
