No-pressure club; Mai's a cutie

Visit: April 2018, 9:00 pm, one hour. Picked because proximate to my hotel, reviews indicate it's inexpensive, and I'm a strip club newbie. Front door was open, so stepped in and glanced around -- club consists of one room with bar to left, small stage with one pole at front, lap dance couch to right, curtained VIP booths at back, and a half-dozen small tables with four plush seats each. Lighting is generally dim, and the stage lights swing around in a distracting way; music is sufficiently loud to make conversation difficult but not impossible. Staff consisted of bartender, DJ, and four dancers.

Bartender noticed me and waved me over to buy a drink in lieu of cover charge. (Soft drinks are $4.) I then grabbed a table and was approached by Mai (photo on club's site, in blue bikini) -- Thai, tall, hip-long hair, no ink, very friendly, didn't rush me. We seemed to hit it off, possibly because of my polite conversational skills. Bought one $20, three-minute couch dance -- removed her top, pressed her chest to my face, and ground against my lap. (I.e., nothing special as such things go, but as a strip club virgin it was darn exciting; I'd developed the notion that a "lap dance" is merely a no-contact at-your-table deal.) Returned to my table for further chat. "Can I buy you a drink?" I got a Coke and she picked a bottled water. Bought a second $20 dance.

Of the few other patrons at the hour, most seemed intent on their own conversations; the DJ reminded the room that nobody was watching or tipping the current dancer. No other dancer approached me while I was with Mai, but there were several other couch dances given while I was there. Mai herself did not perform onstage during my visit.
