Subpar Talent for Manhattan
The club is really just two small rooms. The front room is bar area with a staircase leading up to offices and bathrooms. The back room has a stage with tip rail seating that dominates the middle of the room, padded bench seating along the side walls and small circular tables spread out at different points in front of the padded benches. I doubt that club could hold more than 50 people comfortably.
I paid $20 to get in and $18 for a single shot Jack on the rocks. This time I was smarter about clubbing in Manhattan and started getting toasty at a much cheaper bar before I moved on to a club. A dancer that I knew was drinking a vodka mixed drink at a bargain $16, so when I ordered rounds for both of us it was basically $40 for each round after tip to the bartender. Needless to say, the bar will eat you alive quickly if you like to drink and make the mistake of coming here with nothing in the tank, though sadly this is true of most Manhattan clubs.
What really disappointed me more than anything was the quality of the talent. I gave them a regionally adjusted 6, with the girls generally ranging from 6 to 7 on any national scale. Another reviewer used the term "frumpy" and I can't disagree. I could see this type of talent in any mid-tier club almost anywhere in the country, nevermind in a place that charges $20 to get in and almost $20 for each stingy small drink. There were 11 girls that I spotted, two black, two Latina, one Asian mix and the rest white, or at least as far as I could tell. It was a bit dark in there, except that the lighting was pretty good on the stage.
