You Get What You Pay For On "Discount" Dance Night

I stopped in on a Wednesday night, maybe between 9 and 10. There were roughly 8 girls working, initially, and several (though not all) I was interested in getting dances from. While I was sipping my beer, the DJ announced that it was discount dance night -- full-nude dances, normally $30, were $20 all night. (I believe $20 topless dances were $10, although I wasn't interested in that option.) So I thought this could stretch my SC dollar, and I took a couple girls to the back.

The first one gave a bland dance with no variety of positions, moves, etc. She told me she had only been dancing for about a week. Oh well, at least it's discount dance night. (She also told me, although I didn't ask, that the $10 topless dances were air dances only. I don't know if that's just on discount dance night, or just her, or everyone all the time, but it's a good thing to ask about if you're going for the topless option.) The second girl was more energetic and was trying much harder than the first, which I appreciated. Still, I started to notice that the songs, which are on the short side at Club 390 on any given night, were even shorter on discount dance night. So you pay less money and get less time, and you don't really get more value for your dollar.

Then I came back out and tipped a girl on stage. She came over to talk to me and was very charming. I let her talk me into buying her a shot. Then we went back for some dances. She got naked and starting rubbing on me, and almost right away the current song ended, and she said "Would you like another?" And I said, "Are we counting that as the first song?" She claimed I pulled her down into my lap so she thought I wanted to start. Whatever, I thought, it's discount dance so if I do two more songs I'll pay her $60 for two songs, just like a normal night. She was worth it, after all -- in her defense, it was a high-mileage dance.
