Cheap suits vying for female attention

I was visiting DC for a business trip and decided to hit up Archibald's on a Wednesday evening. Cover was $10 and came with a wristband which allows the customer to enter and exit the premises.

Archibald is divided into multiple floors. The bottom floor, is long and narrow, with a bar to the left side, tables in the center, and booths/two dancing poles off to the right side of the room. The second floor contains additional seating, and a bar, but no one was dancing.When I arrived, there were approximately 12 dancers lounging around the bottom floor. Aside from the two perfunctory dancers on stage, the rest were either sitting at the bar looking bored, or actively getting hit on by a score of grey haired patrons wearing cheap suits. (I even saw one patron trying to give a dancer a massage at the bar)

Dancer mix was a bit meh. Aside from a knock out red-head, and a petite asian, the majority of the dancers were thick and tatted up latinas or fake blondes. Although I saw advertisements for a 2 for 50$ VIP special, none of the patrons appeared to take advantage of the offer. From what I can tell, DC appears to be a bit puritanical with regards to lap dances, as Archibald follows a strict no - touching policy. Furthermore, it is customary for dancers to approach patrons at the bar following a set, and ask for a tip. The practice is a bit strange, but cest la vie. Overall, I'd skip this place.
