I had a family reunion in Portsmouth Va, so...

I had decided to slip away on my own to check out this spot, because I had noticed it on the way to the hotel

I was buzzed in by a lady and paid the cover charge (sorry, I don’t remember how much), but it was only a few bucks—politely, the lady behind the bar told me that this was a “lap dance only” club and that she only had (3) dancers, (2) Caucasian and (1) AA female—and it was wait to be served lappers
