When I first came to the sugar bowl, I was looking forward to a relationship in which I called the shots. Beyond that, I haven't even had to tell her what to say, what I like in bed, or even initiate our intimate moments - I thought I would be writing the script, but Rachel has proven that she's amazing at improvisation. In that respect, she has taken me completely by surprise.
That's what it's all about, isn't it? Surprise. Anyone can write a script, and ask someone to carry it out, and I suppose there can be satisfaction in that... After all, we order food that way (Cook it like this, put the dressing on the side, easy on the hollandaise) no matter how the chef would prefer to prepare it. We order it to be made the way we want, and we receive it that way, because the customer is always right.
