Mixed bag

Sometimes the lack of a much of a crowd is a good thing in a joint like this. Sometimes it isn’t. This time, it wasn’t.

Interior of the club is pretty dated, skuffed bartop, sheet metal on the doors, odd neon dancer with a giant head. Probably 3 customers in the place when I arrived. Bouncer was missing so I took a seat, only to get harassed a few moments later for ID. I’m in my forties so this was silly, but whatever.

$5 for a bud bottle, barely a smile from bartender, who palms the tip immediately and goes back to chatting in the corner.
