Completely Underwhelmed

After hanging out on Beale Street last night we decided to check out the local gentlemen’s clubs. We started out at Gold Club and should have stayed there. Purple Diamond is about 10 minutes west of that club and we thought about going back but decided to call it a night after a lackluster visit at Purple Diamond.

Cover was $17 which included two beers. The club was very dark and dingy. There was one stage running the length of the bar and one on the opposite side of the club in the corner. The VIP chairs were on that side of the club in the back.

There were only about 7 other guys besides us and all but 2 were sitting at the bar not paying attention to the dancers. The DJ continuously insisted people at the bar tip. We did and were the only ones.

The talent this night was lacking. We counted 5 girls and the best looking one was maybe a 6. She was a thin blonde Asian. She was the only one we got dances from. Her dances were $25 but she hit us up for a tip on top of that because she said they have to pay the club for each dance. I gave her an extra 5 bucks. One friend gave her $10 extra and the other gave her nothing which apparently upset her.

The other girls were thick without any qualities that moved any of us to get anymore dances. They seemed nice and appreciated the stage tips.
