Bar Tropical First Visit

I checked out the Tropical Bar across the street from HK on a Thursday night about 9 pm. The description in the previous review is spot on. It is a medium sized, long rectangular club with many tables / chairs that have a wooden older feel to them. Beer can be had for about $2 according to the price list. Latino music. One stage, no stage dancing or entertainer on stage. Probably is the dance floor for couples. A more local bar scene and atmosphere.

There were about 15 girls sitting around the club. Average looks, not too sexy, more local girl look, not too slender. Nothing really appealed to me. I walked around and thought I would sit for a beer. But I ended up just checking out the club from end to end, and not staying after looking around.

It was about half or 1/3 full. There were some groups in the club, mostly drinking. A chill, less energetic and frenetic club compared to HK across the street. No cover when I entered. Not a club I would visit for action probably, but maybe to have a beer, and maybe have a conversation with a local girl. Probably would help if I could speak some Spanish. Spanish is helpful in general when interacting with all the chicas here in Zona Norte, fyi, but you can manage to get by without being fluent.
