The Sammy Shuffle

Rolled into this bar at 8:30 PM to a light crowd and perhaps 12 dancers on the floor. My last visit here was in the spring so I was expecting a little more talent this time around. My wingman was more impressed with the choices than I was but then again I spend alot of time in Las Vegas so my expectations are much higher. I did reacquaint myself with one Asian dancer who i remembered tipping in March. Pretty sure she is from the Philippines and was all business trying to upsell a dance in the back area of the bar near the DJ booth entrance. I already knew the price ($45) for essentially a hands-off experience that is simply a waste of money and time. She got $10 in stage tops which was enough to see her in action. During her second rotation one of the customers got jacked up by the closest bouncer for grazing a finger across her upper chest as he deposited a few dollars on her body. She didn't seem to care about that level of contact but the bar staff told him not to repeat that tipping routine again or else he was going out the door. Lay your money on the stage and don't touch anything otherwise be prepared for a lecture and a threat. As for the bar itself the only major change I noticed immediately was the video presentation showing clips of the prettier dancers who have worked here in recent years. The same clip played constantly on the projector TV screen all night which got old fast. During all previous visits this screen ran ESPN sportscenter or a live sporting event so that benefit is apparently over except for maybe the Super Bowl or Gator college football. We left Sammy's to make a stop over at Club 10 and then over to Red Rose before returning again around 12:30 AM. The club was doing more business after midnight and the number of dancers had increased slightly but nothing much had improved in my opinion. Average talent on stage at the end of the tourist season here in NW Florida which does nor compare favorably with the current stable over at the Rose.
