Another SE Dive

Don't get me wrong, I love a good dive and since my previous favorite place went all upscale, I've been looking for a new hangout. Dream On is a bit farther out towards East county than I would prefer, but I'm willing to drive a bit for a good place with hot dancers. Walking in I found the place to be pretty much exactly like Pseudoamericana described in his previous review, so not much to add there. Scruffy looking building on the outside, good sized parking lot in back, a discreet entrance. Inside it was cool and dark on that very hot day. Perfect. Lottery machines, center stage, a few guys at the bar. No one at the rack. A couple guys lurking at tables in the shadows, nursing cheap beers and not tipping. I had also heard from my sources this place has on occasion a few hot ladies but unfortunately none of them were working on this particular day. I counted three dancers, one formerly attractive asian lady, one scrappy looking spinner dancing barefoot wearing daisy dukes, but looking a little bit, worn. Third dancer was sitting next to me at the bar staring into her laptop and making nonsensical comments with the guy next to her. She also looked like she had once been a looker, but didn't strike me as being in full possession of all her faculties. I finished my cheap Mexican beer and headed out. Would I return? Sure, why not? I liked the look and feel of the place. Just wish there had been younger better looking dancers. I'll stop in again hoping to find one of those dancers I've heard about. Who knows, maybe a unicorn will show up.

Oh, and btw, this is one of the few clubs in Portland that posts a dancer schedule on their website. So that's something.
