Fun, not earth shattering.
I was passing through the DC area for work and based on the reviews here decided to check the place out. If I had not read the reviews, I would have never have known that it was a strip club. In fact, I probably would have never really been in the area around the club. It looks like a large but somewhat run down liquor store/barbecue place. There is no parking on premise; they told me to park across the street. Which happens to be a church, which made me feel weird, but it was a large parking lot and nothing happened. (Except it started to rain as soon as I parked, so I got drenched crossing the street).
So there is a $12 cover to enter, and a matronly lady takes your phone if you didn't leave it in the car. Then you are in what appears to be a run down bar. But then you go through another set of doors and you are in the club itself.
The club, for what it is worth, seemed also a bit run down. They have some chairs and tables around a stage. It seems really dark. There is hand sanitizer and tissues at each table. I bought a cup of Corona; I think it was a bit steep, but I cannot remember, and there was no pressure to keep buying drinks.
