Triple B Afternoon

Boobs, Beers, and Burger ! My last visit to this club was in 1988, but I remember it as though it were yesterday. Picture this: MD Northern concrete jungle early afternoon, looking for a change of pace. I have an itch to go to DC. Solution: Metro, more specifically the red line Metro. Driving into downtown DC was a royal pita then, even more so now. The Farragut North station is a few blocks walking distance to club. (The White House is also only a few blocks away.) If you're coming from the VA suburbs, you'll want the Blue or Orange line going to the Farragut West station.

Walking a few blocks to club, I'm pleasantly surprised by no daytime cover charge, and laid back atmosphere. As in only 2 other customers sitting at bar, nursing their beer. There were 4 dancers, all brunettes, 3 of them tall. This wasn't blonde Barbie Doll afternoon. One dancer I'm guessing was Indian or Pakistani, and beautiful. I'd rank all dancers as 8ish. Good, but not up to the level of Bare Elegance - LAX. I proffer a 20 for the beer and burger with fries, got several ones back for tipping. There were 2 mini-stages, but only one in use. With only stage tipping, my cash burn was slow, but mileage even slower, as in non existent. Dancer is dancing nude within arms length or railing, but no interaction available. No stevies, not even a gratuitous feeling up the leg prior to placing in garter. Tips left on railing or handed to dancer. Despite this, there was a cool factor of walking into club with no cover charge, having beer and burger with a hot naked dancer dancing a few feet away within a few blocks of the White House. America is indeed great.
