Still closed, outlook dim

Rabbits, (aka Poor Johns, aka a bunch of other names) has been a wonderful hole-in-wall downtown dive for a long time. The classic grungy strip club where you took only the cash you intended to spend, saw girls who definitely didn't live next door, and could experience all the sleaze you desired as long as you kebt your standards low. Over the past couple of years, a series of owners have had it closed and reopened. Its been closed for many months now, locals had anticipated a planned reopening. Sadly, local government has just blocked them with some rather forceful (and dubious ) legal maneuvering. I think this time the Rabbit may be permanently dead.
