Waste of Time on the Swing Shift
I usually stop in early in the day, and in the future I will continue to do so. Stopped in around 4:30 today to see if there was any difference. Same old Lusty's – run down bar and run down dancers. Doorknob Jaime was leaving as I walked in, so I just imissed her. She's a sure thing at least. No ghetto vibe, with a mixed group of customers and one AA dancer.
There were 5 or 6 girls working when I stopped in, and about the same number of customers. Of the dancers, the best looking was a younger brunette (Kat?) that never looked my direction. There was a late 30's slender blonde that looked promising – she approached and offered a dance, which I accepted. I got about 30 seconds of grind before she hit me up for the juke box. I gave her a couple of singles and when she finally returned, a regular came in. She spent the rest of the song talking to him while half-heartedly bending over my lap. She didn't ask for a second dance, and opted to drop me for the regular ASAP. She disappeared into the VIP with him and I didn't see her again.
Also working was a AA girl with a crutch – friendly and not pushy at least, though she seemed pretty manly – the baritone is a bit of a turn off for me and I'm not sure how she dances with a bum leg. There was a truly scary late 50's heifer – and I don't use the term lightly. She asked once and accepted my decline with grace. I felt bad for her, but maybe it's time to hang up the thong. I think there was another 30-ish blonde (possibly light brunette) but she was tied up with a guy at the other end of the bar and I never got a good look.
