A lounge with benefits

I've been to the Furnace on multiple occasions, and I keep going back for the same reason. It's just a great place to "hang out" with a few friends. It's a very clean establishment, the music is pretty decent, the place is rarely overly packed and/or loud, and the lighting promotes a good vibe to relax in.

Now, with that said, this environment does come at a cost. I've paid between $0-10 for cover. It's a split level club with the upstairs area being paid VIP on busier nights, though their charge for the area typically isn't very high in general. I've been charged as low as $15/person with a decent sized (4+) group going up up to $30 each. Dances are $20, and depending on the girl you may or may not get the full mileage out of that $20. Some will start in the middle of a song and charge you right after; whereas some will do the courteous thing and continue for a full song even if they start in the middle of one. Keep your hands to yourself or expect a swift visit from a bouncer. I havn't seen anyone get tossed out just yet, but the bouncers appear to be constantly staring at everyone getting a dance. Given the way alot of the girls look, I can't blame them for staring.

The club promotes some of the most attractive girls in the area; and I would say, possibly in the entire state. The physiques and ethnicities of the girls vary but you won't find many (if any) "well past their prime" girls on a typical night if you're into that sort of things. Friendliness varies from girl to girl, but most of them can hold a decent conversation. From observation of my buddies, some won't really bother with you if you take more than 2 minutes to ask for a dance. I will say that some of my various friends are assholes and can't really hold more than a 2 minute conversation themselves, haha. To that end, I've not really had a problem holding a conversation with any of the girls I've spoken with. Don't expect too many crazy tricks here; the beauty of the girls themselves is the main draw. Personally I don't really care much for tricks so it's not a point of concern for me.
