Worth the effort

Lido is different than other clubs. It moves around from night to night. You need to be approved to get in. The process is easy, but takes a bit of time. But boy is it worth it! It is only open 4 days a week, and only from 8pm.

The night I went it was at a location near Union Square in the basement of a building. It was a $50 cover, but since I got there early, it was 2 for 1 drinks and I got a free dance coupon, which the girl gladly accepted same as cash. So in effect, I really only ended up paying $20 cover, when you add in the free dance and free drink. Not bad at all. Not sure when the early bird ends though.

That night the club had a separate bar area that was comfortable with cute door girls and bartenders. Beers were $10 or 11. Seating was comfortable.

When I got there, sometime before 9, there were about a dozen or so girls. There was a steady stream coming in. When I left around 10:30, there was easy over 40.

The girls are very different than the traditional strip club. Most of them do this part time. Most of them have day time jobs or are actually in school. They dress in club attire rather than lingerie or evening gowns. I find that far more sexy.
