After the Remodel
This was our first trip back to our favorite club since they shut down. We can speculate as to why, but, whatever. We typically go early evening, so no cover. The day shift doorman is great and always greets us warmly. He shared that they did a $1.5 million remodel. Not to say that the place isn't nice, it is. I just don't see where they put $1.5MM. The booths look the same, and had tears and cigar burns, not awful though. The tables and chairs look new, and nice. Lots of crystals, and there's TV's. We didn't go upstairs, so no comment there.
The dayshift girls were cute. No bolt ons, but I saw that the club was not doing tip-outs for day shift, so I'm assuming newbies. Many of the girls made eye contact, especially with my wife, which was unusual for us. We declined, as usual. One poor girl, who obviously did not know how to walk in stripper heels took a tumble down the (4) stairs. Our waitress happened to be walking by and sweetly helped her up. She appeared ok.
As usual, food was good. The only creepy thing was when the waiter delivered our meal, he sat at our booth and asked if there was anything else he could do for us. Waitresses, dancers, shot girl, yes, Weird waiter, no.
All in all, it was good to be back. We enjoyed ourselves with a nice meal, nice conversation and a nice show.
