Victoria Day Long Weekend

Got a chance to go during the Victoria Day Sunday. Can't remember the last time I was here on a Sunday. The cover was cheaper, $5 instead of the $10 on Saturdays. We arrived around 7pm and was able to get a table on the upper level. The club was about half full at this time. They did some renovations since last month, the standard table and chairs along the wall on the upper level have now all been turned into booths that seat 4 to 5 ppl. They all had a reserved sign on them when we arrived. I'm assuming it's just another way to try and make money for the club. We stayed for one entire set, 5 stage dancers in total. As usual, the stage dancers at Orange are quite good and do put on a show. Unfortunately, nobody used the famous shower on stage during our time there. The floor dancers were mostly the usual suspects. Not a high turnover at this club. If you are familiar with Orange you'll know what I'm talking about. The girls are always nice in that they take "no, thank you" quite well. None of us took a private dance upstairs ... at $50 a pop, even though it's nude, you have to find the right girl to make that investment, especially since you know you can never have just one dance. Orange is still the place to go for peelers in Vancouver. It is what it is and doesn't pretend to be something it's not.
