Knockouts still going downhill

I had not been to Knockouts for a long time as my last few visits were disappointing. So, I decided to stop in and see if things changed. Perhaps I should have chosen a time other than Saturday afternoon, but I have had good times here in the past at that time. Who knew?

I arrived about 400 PM and there was a single dancer there, sitting at the bar with a regular. There were only 4 or 5 people in the whole place. She danced about two dances and then there were 6 or so songs with no dancer. I tipped as is my usual practice, but she went right back to the regular without coming by to say thanks or asking if I wanted a dance. Not a good sign. About 15 minutes later another dancer came in and went to the dressing room. She came out about 45 minutes later. I tipped the first dancer when she danced after the second one came out. The first dancer’s regular had left. She came over and asked if I wanted a dance and I said yes, despite her being rather plain and not my type. She had given no indication that the dance would be good, but I didn’t want to come in the club and not have a lap per. The dance wasn’t good, mostly air but at $10 there was not much to lose. I stayed around waiting for the second dancer to take the stage, but after a half hour of waiting I left.

So, at least on Saturday afternoons, Knockouts is not to productive. If it is like this all the time, they will have a problem staying open. I may try another day and see if it improves. It is a shame as this used to be a good value club with dancers eager to please, but after my last few visits it seems like a waste of time and money. Has anyone had better experiences here lately?
