Not Glamorous but VERY Functional Saturday Visit

Stopped by Wax on Saturday at about 2pm with the intention of staying for a couple of hours and moving on if the place got boring. Spoiler alert - had such a great time that I ended up staying until late evening and making a couple of new “friends”. Details on how are below:

First things first, the club has a large amount of floor space dominated by a long bar area to the right of the entrance. Immediately upon walking in, an entry station checks your ID but you can skip the cover if you arrive in the early afternoon. VIP booths are directly in front of the entrance (and a complete waste of time IMO). Pool tables in fron of those booths, and several small stages and floor seating spread out in the large club area in front of those.

About 10 girls working the floor and the bar area when I walked in the door at 2pm, but that number increased to 15-20 after the about 8pm, so there was plenty of attention to go around, but having conversations and finding out what extras are available is my priority, so I prefer the more relaxed and laid back day shift vibe and this place does that very well. Dances are $5 dollars each and bottled water was $2.50 per so “trial dances” with water breaks could last for extended periods of time, and it wasn’t extremely expensive.
