I haven't been to Flashdancers in well over 15 years. I was at a couple of events in the area that ended sooner than I thought so I took advantage of the extra time. I know the tourist spot it is which is one of the reasons why I've avoided it but I thought what the hell, hang out, have a drink, tip a bit and be done.

No frisk going in, down a pretty long flight of stairs and $20 cover. Person taking cover does not make change for singles. Walk-in and informed by a bouncer of the mandatory coat check, to the left of the door, past the bathrooms (for your reference). Coat check is $3 (plus $1 tip-why not). I notice what looks like 10-15 identical black backpacks on the floor, curious. Bouncer guy introduces me to a waitress who wants to take me to a seat. I'm all-in for this so I just go with flow and say I'll take a seat at the stage and sje leads me there. I order my first drink, a Dewars and Water, open a CC tab and ask her if she can make change for singles. She can and takes my card and a 20.

I get the lay of the land. Yes, previous review did say it was dark and it annoyingly is. I'm sitting at the "main" stage, kinda small, 2 poles narrow. Not going to see alot of pole tricks here. There are two small stages with poles behind the bar and one in their 'VIP' Section. They keep the girls rotating through. Mostly pole circling, not allot of room to dance though. I get 2 or 3 offers from different massage girls for a shoulder massage, politely decline and I'm not asked again. Low hustle on the wanna-dance girls, only 2 come by. They are actually pretty polite when asking and no hurt feelings when I decline. It's at this point I noticed the large contingent of Asian businessmen spread around the club. Suddenly all the backpacks make sense. I think it's hysterical. Businessmen in ties round it out but I don't think they're local either. I'm really not seeing allot of tipping going on. Lap dance area off to the right up a couple of steps relatively quiet. I chuckle again, obviously not real TUSCL mongers here, only posers if even that.
