Lastest Update

Much to my surprise, Penthouse did open on the 11th. I thought that the City of Detroit would keep them closed much longer. Many of the dancers that worked there in the past showed up. The remodel looks good. The downstairs had the main bar fixed with a new counter top. They have finally added new bar chairs after the old ones were pretty trashed. Around the stage they added new tables and chairs. The old couch along the main stage was replaces with bench seating but in a U shape. Probably fits more customers. The upstarts is completely redone. They took out the old VIP rooms behind the bar and added more room to the upstairs bar. I was very impressed. The VIP rooms along the side of the railing is now small sectional couches that everyone can see you in. If you think you can get the old type of dances, you will be in for a big surprise.

Over all I give it a B+ in effort. They are still working on some service issues with many workers being new but that will change. I guess Stormy Daniels will be there tonight for a show.
