GC day shift exceeds (low) expectations

I've been to the Gold Club many times over the last 4 years. It's the best club in Memphis, IMO (not that that's saying much). I usually go in the after-work hours (5-7, surprisingly lame) or SC prime time (10-2, better). Recently, events in my life have conspired to keep me away from the club at these hours. Nevertheless, I felt the urge, so I made my excuses and set out to see who was grinding laps on the day shift.

Daytime cover is $5, night is more. Beers are $5.50 for 2. There's usually a waitress, but I sat at my table for a while and nobody came by, so I got my beers from the bar. The bartender was far and away the hottest piece in the place, tall & slender with long blonde hair. Hopefully someone will cajole her into getting up on stage & down on some laps before too long.

The place was quiet, but not as quiet as I expected. 5-10 customers sat at tables on the main floor watching the main stage, mostly unaccompanied. Frequently at GC, particularly during prime time, the hottest girls spend the whole night sitting with some regular, and you have to choose between dancing with the dregs or going home with money in your pocket that you wanted to spend.
