I came here because a dancer thinking of working here from my other club wanted me to go investigate this club by myself for her. I wouldve never gone here otherwise based on reviews.

I asked about cover, they said none but 1 drink minimum. I saw no obvious coat check but there was a coat rack near the front door bouncer but it wasn't formal or protected (dont leave anything valuable), and IDK if it was for customers or just staff. No pat down. Front door bouncer did a fake-friends thing and said he has "seen me before", I ask where?, he admits he made it up. If you were buzzed coming in, you wouldve liked the small talk.

The club is a massive island bar setup with 3 poles in middle and 3 girls on them for a set. You barely can make out faces from the distance from the bar to the center island pole. Music is 1990s-2000s EDM. First time ever I've heard a SC play Motorcycle - As the rush comes. LD area to one side on the wall furthest from the door. Other than the LD area, its just a massive square room where you can see everything across the room. I dont remember how long, or the song count that each girl must bikini dance before going on tip parade. Soda was $4.50, I didnt ask and didn't get change back. Dont sit at the island bar, the tip parade is worse than Times Square crackheads or any subway during rush hour. Use one of the tables against the wall to "drink" in peace. My bikini dancer friend from another club said many guys say "sorry" or "I dont have singles" to not tip her at her other bikini club, I suspect some guys here at Shakers do the same thing. I saw not every guy handed over paper to the dancers. But when i tried to "enjoy my drink" the girls get super aggressive and wont leave till they get their $1. Its a fake smile, 2 wags of boobs, and the next one comes. You will loose $5 a minute if you give in. Most girls go in a ring around the whole island bar the whole night. Most aggressive ones will complete the circle 2-3 times per song. Its not possible to be selective and only tip the hot ones. All the girls line up in a chain. Stripper affirmative action. Ugly ones make as much as the hot ones because once they are in the chain or should I say train of strippers, the train can't move till the ugly one makes her $1. The chain of strippers got so aggressive after 10 minutes, I started to only tip the ones I wanted to get LDs from and told all the other they aren't my type. This really started pissing off ALL them off. When I realized the hot ones never leave the island bar and never keep guys "company" on the other side of the bar except for their 1 or 2 regs, I told the hot dancers "come over and keep me company if you want a tip" or "come over I want a dance". no $1s for nothing. I suspect the 8-10s here NEVER come to the other side of the bar and the bar is their protection wall against PLs so a PL can never touch them. Thinking back, if I ever go back, and I probably wont, I need to try sitting on my bar stool very far back so that the girls can't grab the $1 out of my hand from the long "wall" they hide behind and just tease them with it so they come over to the other side.
