Ain't like it used to be

So, this club used to be my home. I went here 2-3 times a week at one time. But, oh how the times have changed. As with all the Memphis clubs, the Pony is just a shadow of it's former self. I guess out of nostalgia, I still stop by every 2 or 3 months to see if things have gotten any better, but alas they have not. The place is getting somewhat run down, and I fear that my car will fall into a pot hole in the parking lot and never be seen again. Seriously, it's an adventure trying to park. But, on to business... the quality of girls is basically 3 to 5. I think they pretty much take what they can get, no real standards. It's skinny ass with no curves or way over weight with no in between. One extreme or the other. And, they keep closing off different sections to that point that there's hardly anywhere to sit any more. Tonight when I went in, they literally had half of the club cordoned off and labeled as "VIP". As if they would actually have like 100 VIP customers. It's like in stadiums when they put tarps over different areas to make it look more full. Sorry, this is more of a rant than a review. But, I have close ties to this club, and it's pretty sad to see the shape that it's currently in. It used to be the best in town, but now it's just mediocre at best. Sadly, wouldn't recommend it at this time.

Spent the cover which was $16 including 2 beers. Bought 3 more beers, and probably spent about 30 bucks total before leaving. No dances because frankly there was not a single girl that interested me in the least.
