It's Cleaner Than Boom Boom Room, But Not Better

So this is the new remodel of Boom Boom Room, which I always thought was a run-down dive, but a fine place to get a reasonably priced set of lap dances with decent mileage (by Portland standards). For reference: dances at BBR were $20-$25 (depending on the hustle), behind the sheer curtained booths. 4/$100 wasn't uncommon, and the mileage was pretty good if you were a regular and hit the day shift.

Now it's Reveal Lounge (as noted by previous reviews, same owner as Expose on Canyon). They did a lot of work inside. New furniture, lighting, remodeled bathrooms, down to one stage, more booths, and a VIP area room in the very back. If club cleanliness is one of your things, this is an improvement. Prices for booze (and the bar staff) are the same. There is poker happening every single night, and two dancers I chatted with say that's the majority of the business so far. Some of the players end up paying for dances, most don't I'm told.

This was all mostly a bummer the night I went in. I was like one of three people total who hit the rack. Girls were some of the same as on rotation as the BBR. But there's definitely less patrons coming in for the dancers now if my single visit was accurate.
