Can be a nice place to spend an evening
I was spending a night in Birmingham and had the evening to myself so I decided to checking out the furnace would be a nice way to spend the night. The club is located in an isolated area, but it has fenced in parking and plenty of lighting. The cover was discounted for military members so that was a good start.
The club is quite spacious on the inside and it seemed empty with only about 8 dancers and 5 customers, although this may be due to it being a slow weeknight. Probably another affect of how few people were there was that no one performed on the main stage. Instead all the dancers performed on a stage next to the bar, where everyone hung out. As with most clubs the entertainment value of the dances on stage went up when they were tipped. Every dancer who I tipped did also speak to me as well. Domestic beers where at about average price at $5, didn't order any mixed drinks. Got to say the bartender was fast and attentive and that is always appreciated. The song choices were actually picked by the DJ and they ranged from classic rock to some modern hip hop.
From what I counted there were only about 8 dancers and they ranged from from 5 to 8. They all had slim to slightly curvy builds, and were mostly white with one ebony. In terms of attention they seemed to be more interested in the regulars, however, I was able spend time with a few of them. They were friendly and only pushed for drinks and lap dances after we spoke for awhile. I got lap dances from a couple and they were both what you would expect from this type of club. The dances happen on some sofas at another part of the club in an open area. They were both mostly air dances with a little grinding. The dances were $25 and I only got regular drinks for them, although they did have the "ladies drinks" that were $20 or $25.
