Slightly Downscale Club with Decent Talent

I showed up around 10 or 11 on a Tuesday, paid the $5 cover (might have been $10), and then dropped an extra $5 in the bucket because a sign taped to it said, "$5 tip for tits," or something like that. That must've been another door girl's policy because I received no such service. Oh, well, no biggie! The bouncer in the foyer was the only one I saw that night.

I'll say up front that I felt a little awkward or out of place the whole night, but that's likely to do with myself moreso than the club. I was a regular at Kahoots for a while and so hadn't been to Sirens in a few years. The two biggest differences I noticed were that nobody sits at the stage at Sirens (and the dancers are accordingly much less eager to engage the few custies who approach the tip rail) and that Sirens has no beer on draft, which is why I described it as slightly downscale. Obviously it's a subjective matter whether these differences reflect better on one club or the other. I don't particularly care, but it threw me off a little to have to adjust to a new system.

While I was sitting with the 1st dancer who approached me (never the one you want), the waitress got me to buy her a drink. This is not my usual modus operandi, and definitely not with a dancer who doesn't fit my specifications, but I was caught off guard by the request. Just know that dancer drinks are a thing here, although that dancer did tell me, when I inquired about her cut, that I would've had to buy her $120 worth of drinks for her to make $30. As a final drink-related note, the DJ here walks the floor with a wireless mic, and he offered to buy me a beer for being a new customer. I never saw that drink, which is fine because I didn't want it, having driven myself, but the offer was made.
