Lido Room

I have been to the lido room a couple of times and have always had a great time. It’s a moving location but they seem to stick to the same 5 or 6 places. This night I went was in an old warehouse right by the Hudson. It had a ton of space, two very large screens and a pretty good size bar. The girls were fantastic. There were probably 50-75 girls on this night and they are very low pressure dancers. The majority are girl next door type who are supplementing their income. Most of them are happy to talk with you for 10-15 min or longer before going for a dance.

The dances are pretty high mileage for NYC standards. They have a separate space for dances but it’s only semi private as you’ll be on long couches next to other patrons when it’s busy. Everything is in okay except below the belt. Most girls will not take their top off on the first dance and this seems to be consistent so maybe they are taught this? Once the top comes off most girls are open to mutual touching and even kissing if they are into you.

I spent about $300 which includes a $50 cover and $12 beers but had a great time and will be visiting again.
