Pleasantly surprised
I was visiting from out of town and decided to check this place out because it was walking distance from my hotel. Area was fine, on a main st. Couple guys on the corner asked for a handout but took a polite no for an answer. Despite signs saying no cover outside was charged $5 by a dancer who was working the door. Interior is fairly typical. Bar on one wall, lots of tvs, long thin stage island in the middle of the room. Handful of clearly homeless guys sitting at a table nursing cheap beer and not tipping. I live in an urban area so I'm used to it but I can see some people being put off. Beers were dirt cheap at $3.
Sat at the stage and tipped a buck every few minutes. Only other people at the stage were a group of three young guys who the dj kept shitting on for not tipping until they eventually left the stage and sat at a table. Dj was kind of annoying and overly aggressive with the sell, but did call out thanks to people who did tip. "My man with the long hair knows how to do it, follow his lead guys." Standard 3 song sets. Were about 7 girls working, all white. I would say they were all acceptable looking and at least moderately interested in being there. No real stunners but a couple above average looking and enthusiastic girls.
After about five beers and the whole stage rotation I asked a particularly earnest stripper about the dance options. She was probably in her early 30's, cute face with minimal makeup, thin with smallish breasts. I enjoyed her stage show and tipped her well, and afterwards she came over to thank me. Settled on the semiprivate booth option for $10 a dance. Girl lead me to the darkest booth, waited until the next song started and got to business. Good two way contact and solid grind skills. She checked in at the end of each song and I stayed for two more. At the end she seemed genuinely surprised and grateful when I gave her a $10 tip on the $30 worth of dances.
