Good Afternoon

Afternoons can be hit or miss but yesterday was a hit. A nice variety of dancers this time as opposed to the all too frequent collection of overweight white girl frumps. I saw at least two black dancers and a few of other ethnicity as well. And even some of the white dancers paid attention to their hair which many do not. I have a regular I was there to see, but I appreciated the eye candy nonetheless.

There were not that many people when I arrived, and I recognized the same usual faces who seem to know everybody but never buy dances. I'm not sure how that works! The place got busier as it got dark. With the record cold we've had, I was quite pleased that it was plenty warm inside. I even checked my coat so it would be warm when I left, despite the fact I was was parked 50 feet from the door.

As usual the wait staff was wonderful. Friendly yet efficient which can be a fine line to be both. I like how they flirt with customers but still get drinks served in a prompt manner. And the $1 Grey Goose shots after 4 PM was a nice touch. It's not a huge shot, but for a buck it's a good deal!
