Better Than Expected, But Let's Be Realistic

Let me tell you this upfront. This is a dancer-owned and operated club. Meaning, the former dancer known as Raven who owns the place, tends the bar, and named the place after herself is very much a presence. She seemed cool, and if you didn’t know it was her place she didn’t make it a point to tell you. I’m just leading with this because customers need to understand that you’re going to be on the losing end of anything that runs afoul of the dancers. Period.

When I got here I almost didn't walk in. Club looks like the gas station from the outside might have been in a prior life. There is a front area with a pool table that is just inside the front door. The main club is the next room in with the main bar. I got right to the threshold of the main club when I was met by a polite but business lady who asked for a cover charge a gave me a quick once over. That was Raven. Customers were chill, keeping to themselves or hanging with people that they know it's clearly a regulars Club but I didn't feel unwelcome.

They had between 4 and 6 dancers while I was there on a Friday night. the girls confirm the club is only open Wednesday to Saturday. Heard that they have the most girls Friday and Saturday which makes sense. You're not typically going to see more than six dancers on his shift. Raven the owner and the other bartender were both hustling the service was top notch. I need to mention that on the far wall past the stage, there is a portrait hanging of the Most Interesting Man in the World. The original, not the New Coke version after the real one retired to outer space. Any club that has that is off to a good start.
