Vibe Was Off But Got the Job Done

Unassuming on the outside and laid back on the inside, this club is the place the locals seem to say is the place to be. I’ll go with the recommendation that this is a club to check out when in Seattle, but it was not the place I liked the best on the trip. That club was (somewhat shockingly) one of the many Deja Vu clubs in town, but this place was alright. Kinda small club with small round tables and a 10 dollar cover charge. Once inside you can pay 10 dollars to juice bar for unlimited refills of soda or 5 dollars for a drink an hour. Or something like that. Saw this place twice on the same trip, which is not typical but my first visit was so lousy I gave the place a do over. There was a statuesque looking dancer (think she went by Cali) who was lights out gorgeous, but not exactly a barnburner for dances. She was the hottest thing walking around by a mile, though, so I did a couple of dances just to have a closer look.

The stages were straight in from the entry, a larger one in front and one in back. Dancers started on the back stage for a song after walking out from the dressing room, then moved to the front. Both stages were square with poles on diagonal corners. No one did much on stage, but a hot little blonde number did a little more than the others on stage and had some nice come hither moves down on all fours. Given what I’d read in the reviews I was expecting her to be a dog, but she was hot if businesslike. I can appreciate a dancer who gets right to the point. One thing that I noticed was the dayshift on Monday was better than the nighshift on Sunday. Don’t know if that was a fluke, but both the dancers and the vibe were turned up a notch when I got a second look at the place during the day.
